Community is important to us at Cheshire. Each year, we host and participate in several events that support and give back to the community. The Golisano Children's Hospital is near and dear to us here and we invite you to participate in our Annual Cheshire-Milgate Golf Classic, and in the Stroll for Strong Kids!
Stroll for Strong Kids Walk and 5K
The Stroll for Strong Kids is an annual, family-friendly event where you can choose to run in the 5k race, walk with your family and friends, or both. All proceeds from the fundraising for this event benefit Golisano Children's Hospital. Giving to Golisano Children's Hospital means everything to children treated here. To see some of the faces of patients treated at our region's only children's hospital, watch this video.

The Cheshire-Milgate Golf Classic
Welcome back golfers and sponsors. Starting this year, we will honor our special friend and mentor, Debbie Milgate-Moyer. In her memory, we will continue to support the Kirch Center Music Therapy Program at Golisano Children’s Hospital and going forward will also include the Wilmot Cancer Institute in honor of the care they provided Debbie during her heroic battle with leukemia. Why We Do This
The Cheshire, Milgate and Moyer families have teamed together and are proud to once again host this event in honor of Mackenzie Grace Cheshire and all the other children, who continue to benefit from the music therapy program at Golisano Children’s Hospital, and Timothy Robert Milgate, who passed in June of 1995. Children always held a special place in Debbie’s heart so with that, we will continue to celebrate Debbie's brother, Tim Milgate’s memory in a positive way by helping to make a difference for the many children at Golisano Children’s Hospital. This year we are keeping the Kirch Development Services Center as our primary focus. However, as stated before, in Debbie's memory, we will also be making a donation to the Wilmot Cancer Institute. To learn more please visit the event's Facebook Page and take a look at our brochure.
